All 5 advisors earned Bachelor degrees in Finance or Financial & Estate Planning and have worked full-time in financial planning from graduation to present, with all 5 advisors having earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation, 5 Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations, 3 advisors who have earned a Master of Taxation degree, 3 Retirement Income Certified Professionals (RICP®), 1 member of SCA with a Certified Investment Management Designation (CIMA), including 4 other professional designations.
Using current capital market forecast data, inflation, and the current tax system, SCA helps clients establish and fund written plans which allow clients to annually see where they are in relation to their lifetime financial objectives. Using this customized planning data, SCA helps clients optimally structure their holistic financial portfolio to most efficiently meet or exceed their objectives. Over time, SCA proactively reviews clients’ portfolios to ensure they remain optimally invested as the job description of the portfolio changes (from accumulation to distribution, for example).
Advisors with SCA have specialized training and a significant part of their practice involves creating cash distribution and sequence of return planning during the cash distribution phase of life (SCA helps clients replace pre-retirement cash flow optimally). SCA has sent distributions approximating $3 Million per month on average, over the past 5 years, to their retired clients from the assets they oversee, (through the end of March 31, 2022).
SCA reviews and assists clients with optimizing sources of future cash flows (including deferred compensation elections, Social Security claiming strategies, and pension optimization strategies).
SCA assists with tax planning strategies to ensure retirement income needs are being met in the most tax efficient manner. SCA is trained in advanced estate planning and is the catalyst for the explanation and implementation of estate planning techniques including family gifting and trust planning strategies to minimize transfer tax, if applicable, while protecting legacy assets generationally from creditors, predators, and divorce.
